in Evingston.

Evingston was originally founded in 1902 and Evingston Academy in 1910 by the wealthy architect and fashion mogul, Nigel Evingston. Evingston Academy was originally for only the people who could buy their way in, and, trust me, it still is, but recently it's been opened to scholarship students, and started to slowly fill up with outcasts and not-so-wealthy people. Since then, it's become an all-out class war. If you're wealthy, you stay with your kind. If you're poor, you stick with your kind. If you're middle class...well, bless your soul, you've got a lot of deciding to do. On top of all that, Evingston is your average high school with cliques, drugs, and lots and lots of gossip. But it can get more violent than that. There are some who aren't afraid to shed blood. And some who aren't afraid to taint perfection. You've got plenty to hide, especially if you're ELITE PERFECTION.

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Claudette Molyneux was not being bothered by an inferior thespian. Obviously, one so beautiful and refined must deal with those bitten by jealousy and other irritating insects on a daily basis. It's a hard life to live, but some sacrifices have to be made, don't they? Sitting cross legged on the iron cast bench, a fashion magazine sprawled out on her lap, she was content. Now and then a thought would float from the back of her mind to the forefront only to be quickly whisked away by the new fall Burberry line. Any thoughts concerning friends, family, or anything else were replaced by the fabulous images of everything from tweed trench coats to the unforgettable signature fragrance itself. She could already hear the compliments, dripping with underlying jealousy and admiration. She could live knowing others talked behind her back just because they weren't as naturally good looking or poised as she. Apparently being wonderful is a crime.

Next to her was a raspberry iced tea, laced with added sugar to the already sickly syrup pooling at the bottom. Occasionally she would pick up her cup to take a lengthy sip as her eyes darted from page to page. It wasn't very cold out so she simply wore a white eyelet dress with a dark red belt cinching the waist. Framing her delicate feet were a pair of dark red sandals that almost looked like they belonged in Ancient Rome. Antique chic, anyone? As she flipped each page, a strand of blonde hair would impair her vision. Carefully folding the strand behind her ear, she would continue the ritual with the same undisturbed calmness, not paying attention to any passerbyers or onlookers.
